...but not based yet (I'll decide on bases when I've done a couple more). Camera needs charging so only managed on photo - more tomorrow.

Look what I got in the post this morning...
...from Gentleman Jed Antenociti - not one but two GTKs!!
Quite a few parts to the GTK - hull, four axles (short front, long back for future reference and the wheels are 'handed'), turret (seven parts), winch mount, bumper and 'guards'. Fit of parts is very good (with good locating points) and I encounterd no problems with the build. Care will have to be taken when fitting the axles and wheels as they been designed to offer several options for positioning (you can just about make out in the pic above that the rear axles have been set at different heights) and with a little work you could have the wheels 'turning'.
My GTKs are pre-production, all resin castings and I'm not sure if Jed will replace some parts with metal castings.

compared to a 'Hunchback' APC
Gorgeous models and if that wasn't enough Jed sent me one of the new Heavy Sentry Bots too!
I'm missing the left side wapon mount at the moment so more on this when it's complete....
WIP: Hasslefree 'Deano' and 'Widow'...
... a little progress
I'm not in the habit of posting super close-ups showing warts-n-all but Kev White's sculpting ocassionally demands it!

"Who don't understand a broad with a mean shoe game"*
...a forum buddy (thanks for your input G) suggested that the shoes on the HF female trooper looked like "...smart black shoes with a tracksuit" so I changed them.

Hasslefree female sci-fi trooper finished...
...but still to be based (I think I might add rank markings on the breastplate as it looks a little bare)

WIP: Hasslefree 28mm Sci-Fi Female Trooper 1...
...It's been a while since I last painted one of Hasslefree's miniatures and this one's a beauty! She's one of the 'Resin Master' figures and is not only wonderfully sculpted but the casting is near flawless. Painted quite quickly today so not perfect but I'm about to order a second one and it would appear Kev. White is sculpting more of this range. can't wait!

Always something on the table...
...waiting to be started or finished! The colour scheme for the Clear Horizon Drop-Pod below was inspired by Jed's chosen sceme for his T-Pea troopers and the vehicles in several recent sci-fi movies (eg Elysium, Oblivion) . I'm prolonging my minor obsession with these highly visible schemes by painting a couple of vehicles in a similar fashion. Antenociti's 'Hunchback' APC has progressed to the weathering stage
and I'm prepping a 'Viper' to paint in the same scheme too

Staying with Antenociti for now I have a Warthog MKI also at the weathering stage that will be used with Dreamforge's Eisenkern troopers I think,
a couple more of the FATC 'Aliens' APCs ready for some decals
and I've recently finished the last of the aforementioned T-Pea troopers.
After the disappointment with the quality and casting material of the stage 2 Kickstarter miniatures from Studio McVey's Sedition Wars it's a real pleasure to return to painting one of their top quality resin miniatures
and I'm looking forward to doing the same with the Hasslefree resin masters I've been collating over the last few months
to be continued....
