...finally added the main weapons and started some of the detail painting (eg fuel cells in 'feet). I have a little repair work to complete on the manipulator arms then (when I have time!) I'll continue the weathering process

The Wargames Store...
...at Brimstage Forge is a very recent discovery - a local games store which is literally on my doorstep to which I paid my first (and most certainly not my last) visit just 15 minutes ago (I said it was on the doorstep!).
Have a peruse of their website to see the many and varied games, figures and essential hobby items they stock, you will be pleasantly surprised. Vitally for me they stock my paint of choice, Vallejo, for both the brush and airbrush - vital because until very recently I've purchased them online but our erstwhile postal service has decided in its wisdom to restrict the number of paint pots that can be included in a parcel through the post. I also needed a couple of cans of GW's Chaos Black which I need to prime several of Antenociti's vehicles as it takes ages with the airbrush. Despite the fact that they were stored on the very bottom of the paint rack and I had to creakily get down on my hands and knees to retrieve them I am delighted I've finally made the effort to visit this lovely store with its very welcoming ambiance and excellent range of products.

WIP 2014: Antenociti...
...I have quite a few G.O.T vehicles to paint - four 'Hunchback' APC's, two 'Warthog' ADV's and two 'Meercat' scout vehicles in both 15mm and 28mm. You will, most likely, have seen these before but I'm not sure if pics of the 15mm 'Meercats' are readily available as yet (not great pictures, sorry)
and there are a couple of new turrets for the 'Hunchback', the first of which (and bloody nice it is too) is pictured below
WIP 2014: Khurasan 15mm...
...had these a couple of weeks now but only had time to put them together and clean them up. Lovely detail on these and almost flawless resin castings.
A Christmas Hiatus...
...and whats coming in January 2014. I'm not really taking a break it's just that Christmas preparation is the main priority at the moment. Hopefully I'll find a little time to sneak away and do a little work on the next few projects, news of which will follow in the next few posts.

Occasionally...
...I'll attempt to paint something bigger! In this case a 1/20 Brickworks SAFS (Super Armoured Fighting Suit) 'Pilot'. It was started a while back but I've just got it out of the cabinet and highlighted and shaded the shirt. I suppose I'd better build and paint the 'suit' too.

WIP: Puppets War 'Taurus' APC...
...decals and the first weathering stages (a light grey filter to fade the darker colours a little) and chipping of the camo to reveal the olive drab base beneath.
