...for a friend and it's taking far too long (sorry Aaron) but things are moving a little faster now...

Similar subject matter...

...different scale...well it's sci-fi...
  I spotted this figure on Coolmini a couple of weeks ago and as I was fancying going up a scale or two I thought I might give it a go. Perusing the Kellerkind Miniatures site for similar subjects I came across this armoured suit and thought the figure and suit would look good together so ordered that two.
I've made a start with the suit's 'pilot'...

63 today...

...but despite the fact that I have to wear a head magnifier for painting because my eyes aren't what they were at least my hands don't shake yet! I keep looking at the huge stash of figures/kits in several scales I have sitting on shelves and in drawers and cupboards and thinking I'm never going to have enough time to finish all of them (I'll give it a bloody good go though) even if I live (as I fully intend) to a hundred.
Thanks for looking in  - I hope I can keep your attention for a little longer as I work through the backlog. Cheers, David

hmmmm...a bit hasty...

...allowing my self to be 'flabbergasted' by Paulo Parente's Dust and their Dust Elite membership. The vehicle that drew my interest and flabbergastedness (?) is now available to purchase! Apologies Paulo! I suppose I'll have to buy one to save face now.

Quite fancied a Dust 'Prinzluther' to go with my plastic Dream-Forge Games Kriegsmarine when they arrived but apparently you can't purchase this particular item unless you are a 'Dust Elite' member which you become by registering as such and paying a fee of $50!

Edit: thanks for your input guys - I was perhaps a little hasty in my condemnation as it appears that registering for 'Dust Elite' allows you to pre-order therefore having first 'dibs' on the new stuff. Hopefully it will be available (unpainted?) to us plebs at a later date.

...starting with a second green suit - adding a lot more markings and started with well-worn ID bands and unit numbers.

The third suit will be white with orange ID bands

Antenociti's NRF 'Komodo'...

...on a temporary base - as you can see the feet don't sit right - (Jed's sending me some) after some staining of the armour with oils. I keep breaking off the fuel-rods/heat-sinks so it's going into the 'cabinet' for safekeeping until the base is ready.
