WIP: Albino Raven 75mm Exo-Skeleton 'Rhino'...

...I've done a little 'tidying' work on the previously painted camo and painted the backpack and a little more of the cabling.

WIP: Albino Raven 75mm Exo-Skeleton 'Rhino'...

...I couldn't resist making a start on this one! I like the colours in the camo scheme I used for the Nuts Planet trooper below so used them again here. I will tone it down a little with a couple of filters.

WIP: Nuts Planet 1/20 Exo Suit Light Armour...

...and GC-B1 (more of which in a moment). I bought this wonderfully sculpted and cast miniature several months ago and started work on it by painting the head and then put it to one side (not least because the painted figure on the Nuts Planet website is painted masterfully by the sculptor, Ki yeol Yoon - fast becoming one of my favourite painters - and one wonders if any attempt to emulate his PJ is going to fall short). Recently, though, Nuts Planet have released a 1/20 futuristic looking motocycle  - the aforementioned GC-B1 - which I thought would look good with the exo-trooper and while waiting for it to arrive I started work on the figure again. I just need to add some markings and a little wear and tear on the armour. To overcome my reticence I've painted the figure a little differently to Ki's though I have shamelessly copied some of his details.

speaking of Albino Raven Miniatures...

...they have recently released a very nice 75mm Exo-skeleton 'Rhino' which I couldn't resist particularly as it was only $25! Unbelievable value! Anyway I ordered it (should have ordered two) and have now received it and its a beauty! Excellent sculpting and resin cast which only requires minimal clean-up. I've actually primed it ready to paint but have only taken a photo of the bare resin item - more to follow soon.

WIP: Albino Raven 'Behemoth' power armour...

...Albino Raven Miniatures is a new company to me - found them on Facebook - producing really nice, top quality 3D printed models. I bought the 'Behemoth' and a set of their Light Infantry which are very reminiscent of Russia's contemporary armed forces. I've painted the 'Behemoth' and now need to add weathering ( the pouches were added by me and are from Mad Robot Miniatures). Once finished I'll paint up a couple of the troopers and make a small vignette.

...and having built the interior for the 'Banshee'

...I decided to try the same with the 'Armadillo' APC which I'd already painted but had, luckily, not glued the troop compartment into place. No passengers though (as yet). The 'Armadillo' is almost finished.

WIP: Clear Horizons 15mm 'Banshee' VTOL...

...with scratch-built interior and passengers. This lovely little flyer has an open passenger compartment that's just crying out for passengers so I made an interior and added seated 'Hell Divers' from the Insertion Team (several of which have been converted by swapping or re-positioning heads and in two cases changing the torsos). The interior has been masked off and the basic camo scheme applied by airbrush. Lining and edging has also been started.
