WIP: Eisenkern 'cargo mules'...

...the different heights to the leg poses is more obvious when the 'Mules' are taken off the painting mounts and placed together.

...destined for the corner of a future dio. The legs on these kits are multi-part, and fiddly (if I remember correctly Mark has simplified the build of the legs for future versions of the mule) to put together but they do allow a number of posing options. One of the mules here as the legs folded to a 'kneeling' position to ease loading/unloading. I've gone a bit 'over the top' on the wear and tear and will tone it down considerably over the next few weathering stages.

...almost finished - I've not gone too heavy on the weathering as I'm not sure how dirty/battle-worn Mark wants it. Less is more at the moment. I'll wait to hear from him before adding 'dirt' to the tyre treads.

...although there are no decals included in the kit of the 'Keilerkopf' suitable ones are easily sourced so I just added a few - unit markings, numbers and warning signs etc. Just some details to paint and then i can begin weathering beginning with some filters.

....Base colour and a bit of 'zenithal' highlighting. Looks a little exaggerated at the moment but that will be muted with filters.

...is, apart from the wing mirrors and rear wheel covers, built. The wheels aren't fixed permanently yet (they are designed to be held on by screws allowing the wheel rim to revolve around a fixed hub) as I want to paint and 'dirty' the wheel arches before attaching the wheels. The rear wheel covers cannot be attached until the rear wheels are fixed in place. All the hatches, the two side doors and the ramp can be opened and closed.

It is possible to attach the roof without gluing so you can show off the detailed interior. The roof fits very snugly but without any undue effort; you just have to ease it gently past the lifting lugs.
