63 today...

...but despite the fact that I have to wear a head magnifier for painting because my eyes aren't what they were at least my hands don't shake yet! I keep looking at the huge stash of figures/kits in several scales I have sitting on shelves and in drawers and cupboards and thinking I'm never going to have enough time to finish all of them (I'll give it a bloody good go though) even if I live (as I fully intend) to a hundred.
Thanks for looking in  - I hope I can keep your attention for a little longer as I work through the backlog. Cheers, David

  1. Happy Birthday! What brand of magnifier do you use? I've been thinking of getting one myself.

  2. Happy Birthday David :)

I am sure that you will hardly dent what you have on the shelves because of all the new stuff you can get your hands on.

I hope your hands never start shaking but even if they did, your subtle camouflage would STILL be much better than I can paint :)

  6. Happy birthday and I would not have guessed 63. As long as you don't finish your last figure before your 100 you should be good to go.;-)

  7. Happy painting. I don't believe in coincidence but it is my birthday today as well. Little younger and still some way to go before reaching dwartist skill and style.

  8. Thanks everyone.
@PO - I've no idea what brand my optivisor is; my wife bought it as a gift years ago and I'd be lost without it. I've since bought two similar items but they're not as good as the original and I can't find another one. It has two lenses a both x2 I think but the second lens is hinged behind the first so it can drop down doubling the magnification.
