WIP: Eisenkern 5-man squad...
...and vehicle. Troopers need their shoulder pads added and a little more prep (mould lines are very fine but still need removing) before a wash and primer. Heads are loose at the moment and will be painted seperately.

Peter had a great idea....
An Eisenkern passenger...
...is the next conversion
...and I've got the legs on the 'Mules' - these are a bit fiddly to do and get correct (which Mark acknowledges) but the joints are an excellent fit and reward a little care and attention in getting them sitting right with all four legs on the floor (something I didn't quite manage due to impatience on my part). Lots of potentially interesting configurations with the multi-part legs and I might try to fold the legs flat on the next one....
The 'Mules' still need a little finishing off in terms of mould and join lines (very minimal on all parts and easily removed with a new blade in the craft knife) and final position of the guard rails. I've added the alternative 'heads/control' and will decide which to use soon.

I knew it would work...
...and so I couldn't resist putting the idea into action. Plastic Eisenkern vehicle driver
the head needs a little reworking position-wise but I think it works quite well.
Couldn't resist starting a couple of the 'Mules' too although the multi-part legs will be put together when I'm a little less tired!

Not as big a carton...
...as some have received
but here's my order from stage one....
a Leviathon, optional Capacitor Cooler, left-hand Vulcan Cannon (not a big sword fan!), twenty Eisenkern Stormtroopers, three accessory sets (haha, thought I wouldn't have enough with one set but the sprues are full to the brim so I now have nine 'mules', eighty-four 'spare' heads, about a hundred and fifty arms and nearly two-hundred hands to say nothing about all the pouches and packs etc.), two support weapons sets, three female snipers and the alien chappie and pet.
I expected to be pleased about these but, believe me, despite all the superlatives being uttered on forums and blogs about the quality of design and casting etc. they have far exceeded my expectations.
THEY ARE STUNNING!!!
I'll get some of the troopers built over the weekend and actually open the Leviathon box!
Congratulations Mark - can't wait for the APC!
